In Skoura, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the remarkable Amridil Kasbah, a stunning example of Morocco’s fortified architectural heritage. Travelers visiting during spring can marvel at the valley’s spectacular rose bloom—a truly magical spectacle.
As we arrive at Dades Gorges, prepare to be awestruck by the distinctive rock formations locals playfully call “monkey fingers,” accompanied by panoramic views of the dramatic landscape. We’ll conclude the day at your hotel, where a delicious dinner and restful night await.

Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive along the Dades and Todra Rivers. Surrounded by lush palm groves and traditional Berber villages, you’ll arrive at the Todra Gorge in Tinghir—one of the world’s most spectacular canyon landscapes.
En route to the Merzouga desert, your guide will suggest a stop at a traditional Berber shop. Here, you can enjoy free photo opportunities in authentic Berber attire. While purchasing souvenirs is optional, this is a fantastic chance to connect with local culture. Simply inform your guide if you prefer to skip the shop.
Upon reaching Merzouga, an unforgettable desert experience awaits. Embark on a camel ride to witness a breathtaking sunset over the dunes, try your hand at sandboarding, and settle into a luxurious desert camp. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner under the stars, immersing yourself in the magic of the Sahara.
Total driving distance: Approximately 310 km

A short journey takes us to Khamliya village, renowned for its mesmerizing Gnawa music. We’ll pause to absorb the captivating rhythms of this unique Moroccan musical tradition. Next, we’ll explore Rissani, a city steeped in history as the birthplace of Morocco’s ruling family and a crucial ancient caravan route hub. On market days (Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday), we’ll visit the traditional Moroccan souk.
Continuing through the picturesque Draa Valley in Agdez, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate by afternoon, settling into our accommodation and reflecting on the day’s adventures.
