Day 1: Arrival to Tangier ⇢ Chefchaouen
We pick you up from your accommodation, the airport or the port in Tangier, and drive inland to Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Tetouan and the Rif mountains. Stops will be made along the way for panoramic views. Finally, we reach the Chefchaouen, where you’ll spend the night in a hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing Chefchaouen the blue city
After breakfast, we explore Chefchaouen, also known as Achaoun, which means horns in Berber. The city is famous for its buildings and alleyways painted in blue and white. We’ll stroll in its charming old Medina, which has so many beautiful authentic blue doors. Free time for lunch. Finally, you can hike to the Spanish mosque, located on a high ground, where you can see the spectacular view of the whole blue city.

Day 3: Chefchaouen ⇢ the Roman ruins of Volubilis ⇢ Meknes ⇢ Fes
After breakfast, we drive to visit the ancient Roman ruins Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. We’ll stroll in the ruins, and then drive 30 km to visit one of the imperial cities, Meknes the Ismaili capital. In which we visit Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then we head to Fes, where you’ll spend the night in a riad.

Day 4: Guided Tour Sightseeing Fes
We pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast, to explore the city of Fes. The city is considered one of the imperial cities, besides being the cultural and religious center of Morocco. We’ll visit the Royal Palace gate, the well preserved medieval Medina, the Blue gate or Bab Boujloud, the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries, and finally the Quaraouin mosque and university – The oldest university in the world.

Day 5: Fes ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Cedars forest- Midelt ⇢ Ziz valley ⇢ Merzouga Sahara
After breakfast, we continue our trip south through Imouzzer. We’ll visit Ifrane, famous for its low temperature, snow and also the alpine-style architecture houses. No wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we continue to cedars forest, where the Barbary macaques lives. Feel free to feed them while wandering in the forest. Later, we continue to Midelt, where we will have a free time for lunch. Then we drive through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass, and along the Ziz valley, with stops for panoramic views.
In the afternoon we reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you switch to camels to cross the sandy desert, then a stop will be made to enjoy the sunset. After that you continue to the camp which is a combination between the traditional tents of nomads and the luxury a hotel has. Where you can enjoy the Berber drums music while dancing around the campfire, under vast open sky of stars.

Day 6: Explore Merzouga region ⇢ Nomads ⇢ Khamlia ⇢ Merzouga lake ⇢ Erg Chebbi ⇢ palm grove
After breakfast, we dedicate the day to explore the region of Merzouga. The area has so many incredible sites, from sand dunes, wild lake, mines, fossils areas, to fabulous oases. Which are ideal places for so many outdoor activities. We start our journey in Merzouga, by driving off-road to visit an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we pay the nomads a visit in their handmade woven tent. And learn how they live while drinking a Berber tea.
Our next destination is the Khamlia village, where you can enjoy the Gnaoua music and dancing performances. Its inhabitants are originating from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan and Niger. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. After that we take a stroll in palm trees grove. Then drive a few kilometres to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also called the lake of flamingos. Finally, return to Merzouga. Dinner and overnight In a hotel.

Day 7: Merzouga Sahara ⇢ Rissani ⇢ Erfoud ⇢ Todra Gorges ⇢ Dades Valley
Wake up early in the morning is a must do, in order to contemplate the beautiful sunrise. Free time for breakfast. Then we leave the desert to visit Rissani town, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani still a major trading center in the region. With a large souk lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. After a stroll in Rissani souk. Thereafter, we continue to Erfoud, where we visit one of the workshops of fossilized marble.
Then we drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of Todra river has carved out a grand canyon through the mountains. This high red cliff-sided canyon is an ideal place for rock climbers. Feel free to wander in the gorges and appreciate the beauty of the landscape. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. Then we continue to the Dades valley through Boumalne Dades. Finally, inevitable stops at the “monkey fingers” rock formation. And for the panoramic view of the Dades valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

After breakfast, we continue our trip to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May. Where the locals offer their rose products, from perfumes, rose water, oil, to cosmetic products. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura and visit the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Then we reach Ouarzazate, where we visit the studios in which famous movies were shot. And also visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.

Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy…etc. And TV series including Game Of Thrones. After that we visit the Telouet Kasbah. Then we continue to Marrakesh by going through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Stops will be made for lunch, and to take pictures at interesting spots. Finally, we reach Marrakesh. Overnight stay in a Riad.

After a warm breakfast, we will be exploring the Highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. The city is considered one of the imperial cities in Morocco. The visit includes : the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Quranic mosque. And stroll in the largest traditional souk in Morocco. Free time for lunch near the Jemaa El-Fna square. Later on, you visit the Koutoubia mosque the largest in Marrakesh, and the Majorelle garden. Transfer to your accommodation. Feel free to wander in Jemaa El-Fna square on your own.

How far in advance should we book this tour ?
Making your vacation plans as soon as you can is encouraged because the early bird gets the worm.
How to pay for the tour ?
Initially, we ask that a small deposit be given to our account via PayPal during the booking procedure. Second, the balance must be paid in cash and should be handed to our driver/guide on the first day of the tour in euros, dollars, or the equivalent in dirhams.
How do i take my luggage to the camp?
At the start of your camel trek, a 4×4 vehicle will convey your luggage. As a result, your bags will be there when you arrive at the camp.
Is it possible to have vegetarian food or vegan food?
Serving vegan or vegetarian food is possible. On the first day of your trip, please email me or let your driver/guide know as soon as you can.
I don’t want to ride camels to the camp, how i do I reach the camp?
